Ladies Pink NFL Football Jerseys Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Pink is a color not normally associated with the football and the NFL, during the month of October the NFL has turned into one big pink wave to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is the third season in which NFL teams, coaches, officials and players will wear pink in recognition of the fight against breast cancer. Throughout October, all NFL teams will celebrate survivors, visit patients at hospitals and turn their stadiums pink to show our enduring support. Alongside our partners at the American Cancer Society, we will emphasize the importance of prevention by encouraging all women over the age of 40 to get a yearly mammogram.

During all the games on October 16-17 2011 every NFL team is going to host several pregame and in-stadium programs to raise awareness about breast cancer with the crucial catch, early detection.
