In in 2 years so far Victor Cruz says that his favorite touchdown this season is his 99-yarder against the Jets in Week 16. Cruz basically won the game against the Jets with a sensational 99 yard play.There have only been 13 99-yard TD catches in NFL history and this one saved the New York Giants' season. The win is somewhat ironic for this Jersey Boy rooted for Americas Team growing up (while living so close to the Meadowlands) and this is the team he scored his last touchdown on, sending childhood favorite NFC rival packing to go home, and Cruz cruizes on to the playoffs. Thats right Victor Cruz grew up a Cowboys fan. And his last TD of the season broke his ex-favorite team’s heart and ended their season.

The NFC East title game opens up with a 74-yard catch from Cruz putting the G-Men up on the board with 4.58 remaining in the first quarter. 3rd down and short, on a third on one out of the gun rolling left, you could see the exasperated look on the face of Rob Ryan (Dallas defensive coach) Ryan.Cruz is quoted as saying

Week 7 - October 21, 2012 New York Giants 'Cruz' Into Victory- Victor Cruz's record breaking 77-yard run led the New York Giants to a late minute victory over Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins.The salsa king of football's 77-yard TD pass from Elite Eli Manning is longest game-winning TD in the final two minutes of a game in New York Giants franchise history.

The 2013 season has begun and going into week 3 the New York Giants have yet to win a game. Sunday Night Football opened the NFL 2013 season with the Cowboys hosting their division rivals. The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants in Dallas for the first time since Cowboys Stadium opened. Manning threw three touchdown passes to Victor Cruz and four overall, and he had New York in position for a comeback victory despite the flurry of mistakes. And the 2nd game of the season featured the Manning Bowl. The battle of the brothers was won by Peyton. The battle of brothers was in the end was decided by each team's supporting cast. So it is apropos that Eli's number one receiver spoke out in the days leading up to game 3 when the Giants go on the road to play the Panthers.

Cruz was quoted as saying :

"He knows I’m always here. He knows the whole team is always here to back him up and say the right things to him and keep him up. We understand the type of player that Eli is. Two games aren’t going to make or break our season."

On Sunday, the Giants play at Carolina (0-2) in what safety Antrel Rolle labeled a "must-win game" yesterday during an interview on WFAN. The Giants will need a mistake-free Manning to win.

NY Giants' Victor Cruz turns down opportunity to appear on ABC's Dancing With the Stars on January 4, 2012. His touchdown salsa draws the attention of ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but the Giants wide receiver won’t be doing his endzone salsa dance on their stage anytime soon. Right now IMHO he has better sights to set his eyes on. But dont take him off your dance card as something tells me this is one NFL wide receiver to be watching to take the dancing floor stage in the future.
