The Sexiest Butts in NFL Football

To be honest it is hard for me to understand why more women do not watch the game of football. Don't get me wrong, it is understandable if a female does like to get into competition or doesn't understand the game. Its hard to understand a game if you never have played it. However, in my humble opinion none of these are good enough reasons for not watching the NFL. Mark Sanchez may have not made it to the Superbowl this year, but he is one fine player you should be watching out for.

Okay so I have no shame. In my defense , let me just point out that these guys wear second skin tight pants so if you think about it, this is a game which mainly consists of a bunch of muscle-bound, incredibly hot hunks, yes sexy guys running around in skin-tight pants. Tell me, what's not to like! Trust me when I say the sexiest butts are an epidemic in the NFL. And I would be doing a disservice to every female our there if I did not share my findings.

Granted some of you aren’t football fans and chances are you may never love the game, but come Sunday your man will plop his ass on that couch for the entire day. So why not find a reason to sit there next to him. The NFL's football season may be over for now but before you know it, they will be kicking off again. So now is as good as time as any to get familiar. Trust me on this one, some of these guys will burn up your screen and I am sure after a quick glance, some of you may be actually looking forward to next season! Just remember the official season for the NFL always begins the first Sunday after Labor Day. You can count on that as if it were some religious holiday. Mark Sanchez was born in Long Beach California on November 11, 1986. He played college football at the University of Southern California. And now he calls the Big Apple home.

The Jets haven’t won a Super Bowl in 40 years, In New York they are known as the second class team But this year things were a bit different. The Jets and their rookie quarterback

All I could think when I first saw him was thanks to Brett Favre retiring, and then coming out of retirement and not staying with the Jets, because you just gave me something else to look at during the games. And his name is Mark Sanchez.

In his rookie year he led the Cinderella Jets into the playoffs, thats one game away from the Superbowl. The Jets lost to the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game in 2010. And so in the coming season, look for him on the field, be wears the #6 .Take note that he is the fourth rookie quarterback in NFL history to win his first playoff game. Talk about wanting more. . . if this is what he did his first year as a pro football player, I cant wait to see what this steaming hottie does next season.

NEW YORK JETS

#17 WIDE RECEIVER

There must be something in the water in New York, because the Jets were the only team to earn three spots in this illustrious lineup (keep reading for there recently was a trade and the Jets have one more hunk to add to their lineup) Proving that quarterbacks aren't the only ones with skills, wide receiver Braylon Edwards, who had 12 touchdowns and over 1,000 yards in 2009, brings up the, um, rear. You got that right Braylon is definitely showing his cute butt come Sunday afternoons.

Braylon Jamel Edwards was born 21 February 1983 in Detroit, Michigan. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns third overall in the 2005 NFL Draft (he was traded to the Jets in 2009). He played college football at University of Michigan.

At 6 ft 3 in weighing in at 215 lbs, this hottie, in one word is fine. He is the total package. Good height, bulk, and physical strength. He’s a great route runner, and his explosiveness allows him to get separation and blow by CB’s. Sometimes he may lack the focus and eye-hand coordination to catch balls on a consistent basis and so he may drop a ball here and there. But it does not take anything away from his being one of the sexiest football players !

Recently spotted Mark Sanchez and Braylon Edwards may be down, but they were still out. The Jetsquarterback and his wide receiver licked their wounds at Juliet Supper Club inChelsea, where they landed early Monday after returning to NYC from their 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.The two men did shots together, Sanchez quaffed some Champagne, and Edwards even got on the club's mic to reassure the crowd, which included Tyson Beckford and Knick Roger Mason, that the Jets would "be back" next year.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Matthew Stephen Leinart was born May 11, 1983 in Santa Ana, California. In 2004, his junior year at USC, he won the Heisman Trophy.

Matt Leinart has a winning smile, dimples, a devil-may-care attitude. Matt dresses stylishly. He has that Southern California nonchalance. Matt Leinart is dreamy, even if he can't throw a football.

This 6′ft 5″ All-America Heisman Trophy winner was the most hotly sought quarterback in the 2006 NFL draft. After being the man in the pocket for the Arizona Cardinals in his rookie season, Leinart basically lost his starting job to Kurt Warner because of some bad plays, a fractured collar bone and probably too much partying. Yes, Warner was supposed to be Leinart’s backup, but Warner beat him out and made a contender out of the Cardinals. Fast forward to 2010 and with Kurt Warner announcing his retirement, the Arizona Cardinals will turn to Matt Leinart as their starting quarterback. Arizona is hoping that Leinart learned enough under Warner to take over. But one thing is certain Matt good looks can take him anywhere he wants to go.

NEW YORK GIANTS

#72 DEFENSIVE END

Ositadinma “Osi” Umenyiora (pronounced /OH-see oo-men-YUR-ah/) was born November 16, 1981 in Golders Green, London, England. He is a football defensive end for the New York Giants. Umenyiora is one of three British born players to have won a Super Bowl ring, joining Scott McCready and Giants teammate Lawrence Tynes.

Umenyiora was born in London to Nigerian parents. His family moved back to Nigeria and later to Auburn, Alabama, where he started playing football in high school. Of Igbo descent, his full first name means in Igbo “from today things will be good”.

He was drafted in the 2nd round (56th pick overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft by the New York Giants out of Troy State University. In 2005, the Giants signed Umenyiora to a six-year contract extension for $41 million with $15 million guaranteed.

Bottom line here we have one defensive end who can sack me anytime.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

#28 RUNNING BACK

Adrian Lewis Peterson was born on March 21, 1985 in Palestine, Texas. You may hear the guys refer to him as "A.D."(for "All Day") or "Purple Jesus. This hottie is all about speed, he can be explosive, as is the rapidly-evolving nature of Peterson's growing legend. His father nicknamed "A.D., when he was a hyperactive child, and it is no wonder that this 2004 Heisman Trophy runner-up refuses to run out of bounds. It's his all-day tough way of honoring those taken from him.

This 6'1", 217-pound dynamo has dedicated his career to honoring the memories of his two brothers who lost their lives to violence. When he was 7 years old he saw his older brother and best friend, Brian, 9, killed by a drunken driver. When he was 13 his father was sentenced to 10 years in prison for laundering drug money. And the night before Peterson's Indianapolis scouting combine workout for 32 NFL teams, his half brother, Chris Paris, 19, was shot and killed in Houston. "Resilience is what I'm all about," Peterson says. "I run angry. Football allows me to take out some of my pain on the field.

Petersen played college football at the University of Oklahoma. He is now the star running back for the Minnesota Vikings and has been one of the top backs in the NFL since he was picked seventh overall in the 2007 NFL draft.

"Wherever I go, it's about going in, working your butt off, doing whatever it takes to win and, ultimately, it's trying to be up there with the Walter Paytons," Peterson says. "I want to win four or five championship rings. That's how I dream. I dream big."

CHICAGO BEARS

#92 LINEBACKER

Hunter Taverner Hillenmeyer was born in Nashville Tennessee on October 28, 1980.

He was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round with the 31st pick of the 2003 NFL Draft. .Hillenmeyer signed with the Bears after being cut by the Packers at the end of the 2003 preseason. Hillenmeyer spent most of 2003 playing special teams for the Bears.

It was pretty much a down season for the Bears in 2009 but Hunter is one true bad ass, you can be sure he tackles as hard as any linebacker in the NFL, and is known to force a fumble or two a game. Though an under-the-radar player was for Hunter as he is one hunk of a player that the Bears should be proud of.

Not only is this football player a hottie, but take note of the fact that in trying to help the science world in preventing future traumatic injures he has joined the ranks of those giving away their grey matter when they die. Yes he has donated his brains to science to help with concussion research. Another noteworthy fact is that he is also a columnist for TheStreet.com

DALLAS COWBOYS

#9 QUARTERBACK

Antonio Ramiro "Tony" Romo was born April 21, 1980 in San Diego California but was raised in Wisconsin so, naturally, Brett Favre was a huge influence on his playing style. This makes him exponentially hotter. He played college ball for the mighty Eastern Illinois University where he won the Walter Payton Award. He was undrafted coming out of school in 2003. He hung on, though, and signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the ‘Boys'.

Romo finished the 2009 season as the first quarterback in team history to take every snap for a full season. He also passed his own mark for single season passing yardage, with 4,483 yards, and became the first Cowboys quarterback to throw 20+ touchdowns and less than ten interceptions in a season.

Unless your guy is a Cowboys fan, chances are they will have a burning distaste for Romo. For Tonys boyish good looks and mischievously devastating smile (not to mention that gorgeous bod) make him a perfect fit for this list (no matter what your better half says .. Tony is a hottie). Just ask Jessica Simpson or Carrie Underwood 2 girls that have been there and done him;)

DENVER BRONCOS

#9 QUARTERBACK

Brayden Tyler “Brady” Quinn was born on Oct. 27, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio. He played college football at Notre Dame, where he set many school records and won the 2006 Maxwell Award as the best college football player in the nation.

Brady Quinn started his career with Notre Dame. He has been dubbed, "The Fittest Quarterback in the World." Sadly, this past season he had been put on the injured list. The good news is that his face has been spared but he injured his right index finger. And for a quarterback he needs every last finger.

On March 14, 2010 the Cleveland Browns traded all 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) of Quinn to the Denver Broncos in exchange for Peyton Hillis, a 6th round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and a conditional late-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

He may not be the greatest QB of all time but look up any list of the hottest NfL players and you can bet your bottom dollar that Brady heads up each and every list you will find.

NEW YORK JETS

#21 RUNNING BACK

Free agent LaDainian Tomlinson narrowed down his choices to the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. On Sunday March 14, 2010, he decided to join the Jets. New York gave him a two-year deal that could be worth as much as $5.6 million.

LT (as he is known) was born on June 23, 1979 in Rosebud, Texas. Now the question with him coming to NY is what will they call him. You see NY already has an "LT" and though he no longer plays football any reference to "LT" in the Big Apple will always be associated with the New York Giants one and only Lawrence Taylor.

Points to note, in 2005 he became the 7th player in NFL history to run, catch, and throw for a touchdown in the same game. While Tomlinson isn’t at his peak any longer, the Jets are hoping that their dominant offensively line can help him turn back the clock. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield should be an asset to Mark Sanchez (first on this sexiest men) for the 2010 season.

In 2007 Tomlinson was named the Most Unstoppable Jock, that in and of itself speaks for his hunk appeal!

January 2011 - LT recharged in Wild Card: Jets RB LaDainian Tomlinson scored four touchdowns in seven-career post season games coming into the Wild Card game against the Colts. On Saturday January 8, LT notched two more scores as New York re-dedicated itself to the running game in their last-second win.

"No one believed in us. We believed in ourselves," Tomlinson said. "We felt like we could come here and win, and we did that today."

Tomlinson found the end zone on a pair of 1-yard plunges on his way to 99 yards from scrimmage. He carried the ball 16 times for 82 yards, including a 23-yard run off right tackle that would be the game's longest running play. Tomlinson was the check down option for QB Mark Sanchez, who connected with the veteran four times for 17 yards.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

#50 OFFENSIVE LINEBACKER

This chief has fabulous cheeks. There is no denying he has a smile that will make you melt. Sexy is just one way to describe him.

Michael George "Mike" Vrabel was born August 14, 1975 in Akron, Ohio. Vrabel played college football at Ohio State. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft where he spent the first four seasons of his career as a Steeler (wearing #56).eight seasons with the New England Patriots, where he set NFL records as a linebacker.

It was no secret that Mike Vrabel was one of Bill Belichick’s favorite players. He was one of the few Patriots who could actually get away with being a bit of a class clown, and teasing the coach on occasion. Maybe it was because had the versatility to play as a linebacker, and then often checked in as a tight end (cute butt alert) in short-yardage situations, which makes him an eligible receiver. He was the first defensive player to score a Super Bowl touchdown on offense since William "Refrigerator" Perry did so for the Chicago Bears against the Patriots in Super Bowl XX in 1986.

Vrabel was also one of the Pats’ most beloved and recognized players, having been a member of all three Super Bowl championships and making the Pro Bowl only a season ago. Yet the Patriots traded him away (along with Matt Cassel) in exchange for the Chiefs' second-round pick in 2009.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Andrew Christopher "Drew" Brees was born January 15, 1979 in Dallas, Texas. He played college football at Purdue.

He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. In 2006 Brees signed a 6-year, $60 million deal with the Saints. And he has been one sexy Saint since then

Brees has been selected to the Pro Bowl four times in his career – with the Chargers in 2004 and the Saints in 2006, 2008, and 2009. He was named the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year in 2004, the Offensive Player of the Year in 2008, and the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV.

A true inspiration to all of New Orleans and a commanding leader of the Saints he started most of the games this past season with a chant. The words were a secret all season but one night Brees dropped into Lucy's bar following the Saints Super Bowl parade and finally confirmed the words to his chant. #42 SAFETY

Darren Mallory Sharper was born November 3, 1975 in Richmond, Virginia. He is 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) and weighs in at 210 lb (95 kg) all hunk of a man.

Sharper was a long-time fixture in the NFC North, where he played for the Packers and Vikings. The 13-year sexy safety signed a two year deal in March of 2009 with New Orleans. Now he is a 'free agent' . Some say perhaps the most underappreciated defender of our time. Cant say the same for women all over the country know a hot butt when they see one.

This football player wears #42 well and we dont know where he will be suiting up come next season. The Saints signing him was a great decision for on February 7, 2010 in Super Bowl XLIV Darren Sharper helped the Saints win the big game and yes he earned his first Super Bowl Ring.

Sharper is one of the few big-name free agents left right now in the football marker. In the recent news Sharper has hinted he’s growing impatient Sharper is quoted as saying the Saints aren’t “showing him love.” (Awww baby, well why didn’t you say something sooner?, I could arrange showing this hottie some love).

Could it be he is ready to roll with the Jets? He was quoted as saying "And like I've told people before, the New York teams, there's something about the big lights and the big city that fits me, and I know I would fit there."

As a New York girl I can attest to that.

2010 season

Sharper had micro-facture arthroscopic surgery on his left knee during the off-season. On March 5, 2010, Sharper became an unrestricted free agent, allowing him to sign with another team. After that there were more issues with his knee and he missed much of the season, but as Sharper was highly regarded it didnt stop him from being selected as a second team All Pro.

After workouts with the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Green Bay Packers without an contract offer. Sharper reportedly announce his retirement after an 14 year career.

Wesley Carter "Wes" Welker was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 1, 1981. He played college football at Texas Tech.

Welker’s game benefits from his perseverance – he was only offered one scholarship and not drafted when he came out in 2004. It’s possible that playing with one of the great NFL’s all-time best QBs (Tom Brady - who gets an honorable mention for being one of the hottest hunks ever) may help as well. Welker is one of only two players in NFL history to ever have converted a field goal, converted an extra point, recorded a tackle, and fielded a punt and kickoff return all in the same game.

Timothy Richard "Tim" Tebow was born on August 14, 1987 in Manila, Philippines. Technically he’s not in the NFL league as of yet, but he’ll be there next year so I thought I’d preemptively add him to this list. At 250lbs, Tebow is said to be the strongest person to ever play that position and could revolutionize the NFL. During his college career, he was the first sophomore ever to win the coveted Heisman trophy. The former homeschooled hunk is expected to be the overall first draft pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Though he’s not in the league yet, the beefy hunk is already stirring controversy for his involvement in this years Super Bowl. Tebow is scheduled to appear in two 30-second commercials promoting a pro-life stance, which has drawn the ire of NOW (National Organization for Women). Tebow, tsk tsk tsk. Though I applaud you for taking a stand, you shouldn’t really be involved since you’re not a woman. Pro-life or Pro-choice, all I know is I’m Pro-Tebow being shirtless more often.

2011 Update

All that needs to be said is not only is this quarterback making news in the NFL on and off the field but he has even created a whole new concept otherwise known as being Tebowed. Seems he has g-d on his side in the last minutes of a game. He has pulled out quite a few last second wins except he lost last week to the evil Patriots.
