Happy Happiness Quotes
86How many things do we need to be Happy? Fewer than we think. In fact, doesn't it sometimes seem like the more stuff we have the less happiness we feel. More stuff means more that we have to take care of, more that can suddenly go wrong on us. Too much clutter can hide what inspires us. With a positive approach we can clearly define what we need to have a life full of happiness and love.
We can't get everything we think we want to make us happy, but we can readjust our thinking to find the riches we already have. What brings the most happiness to your life?

Are you HAPPY to see me? :) Your quote Hubs are always inspirational. Happiness isn't an emotion, it's a decision. An emotion is fleeting, happiness should be forever. Being content with who, what and where you are is pure happiness. Hope all is well, Ciao!
Wonderful quotes, and at the end of the day, everyone is searching for happiness. I definitely believe that happiness comes from the way you perceive what you have, not what you actually have. After all, the most powerful thing of all is the power of our own minds.
Interestingly, I can recall there was a study fairly recently concerning happiness and money. Apparently, we only need around £20,000 per year (per household) to be happy, and the rest is up to us. Actually, that is not much at all, not even the average salary.
I also remember that the happiest place on earth is supposedly Bhutan, which is very far removed from a Western lifestyle.
Nice hub. A quote I like is: "If you would make a man happy, do not add to his possessions but subtract from his desires." --Seneca
Thanks for sharing.

So many great quotes - I had to pick one as a favorite. "It is not by accident that the happiest people are those who make a conscious effort to live useful lives. Their happiness, of course, is not a shallow exhilaration where life is one continuos intoxicating party. Rather, their happiness is a deep sense of inner peace that comes when they believe their lives have meaning and that they are making a difference for good in the world."

Thank you, wavegirl, for including one of my favorite quotes: "Some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."
I often start a speech on maintaining a positive attitude with that very quote and it has a powerful, positive effect on a group. Great hub.
The "If you want happiness for an hour" picture is wonderful, and so true. Another very good article wavegirl. You rock! :)
Rated and stumbled.
Wow! What a happy hub! I was smiling all throughout!
I also love collecting quotes and have 2 hubs about these.
Thank you for sharing this wavegirl!
Your hub really made my morning Shari. I have read it 3 times now and would probably read it 2 more times after I post this comment. No need to say that I am bookmarking this hub and rating it. I am embarassed that I did not read this hub before as it has been 3 days and I have missed something important. I am way behind on my challenge now so gotta keep producing hubs. Also I have read your other two hubs on NFL and I really liked it. Infact I liked it so much that I don't have words right now to comment. I think it will take me a day or two.
Thanks for sharing dear and how are you? It's been long and I missed you.

the first five are today and will continue for the next few days .....
1. she is kind and considerate to others
2. she has an open-mind and a good sense of humor

Kindness is the most
beautiful jewel in the world.
Love means having consideration
for each other.
The seeds you sow today
will be your fruit of tomorrow.
Fill your day with prayer
and your life with blessings.
Happiness is contentment
from within.
Find a dream to follow
that will stimulate your mind.
Make laughter your partner
through life.
Be prepared to fight
for what you want or believe in.
Remember - every day is a new beginning.
