Online Writing For Success - The 60dc2 Team on Hubpages

What Makes the 60 Day Challenge Special
The 30 Day HubChallenge is like going to the gym a couple days a week where this 60 Day Challenge is like having a team with a personal trainer 7 days a week. "
What is the 60 day Challenge?
So what exactly is the 60 Day challenge you may be asking yourself, well, It is a team that consists of web writers working together for a shared success in promotional efforts. The challenge includes 30 Hubs in 30 days, followed by 30 days of online promotion. Each team member sets up a log where online goals are set.
The first 60 Day Challenge was in April/May 2010 and it was quite a success, over 90% of the group succeeded
in completing their 30 in 30! And so with the leadership of Sunforged, the 60 day challenge the return is on again.
The “60 Day Challenge the return” is an effort once again led by Sunforged that was created to challenge writers on Hubpages to, stick with, continually progress, and log achievements while learning how to attain online goals.
This round, we have the group format. specialized writing and promotional tools, and the experience of the first 60DC. We also have a Private Forum and Chat, a specialized toolbar; and so many other benefits.
Tools for the 60DC
The Hubchallenge Log
When participating in the 60daychallenge, each participant creates a Hub Challenge Log, it is here that one initially shares their goals and motivations.
Keeping up the hubchallengelog is a tool to monitor your progress. When you see progress, you feel motivated to make more progress. When you see improvements, you are fired up to improve even further. The challenge log is where you will keep track of your Hubsas well as what promotion steps we have taken. It is also a useful tool for when we finish with phase one of the 60 day challenge, these logs will be instrumental in the promotional phase for interlinking and backlinking.
Here you can find each writers goals and aspirations for taking the challenge.
The Leader of the Pack
"Just another organism attempting to make his own way utilizing the internet as an income source and marketing tool"
Anyone who is anyone or wants to be anyone on Hubpages knows who SF is. He is the master of the 60 day challenge. He is also a new daddy of a baby gorgeous girl. He is also a painter, graphic designer, draughtsman, photographer and lifelong visual artist with academic study in fine arts and art history. Though he is not sure he has ever had ouzo, he makes wine and he takes his whiskey neat. Is it any wonder that he also has a green thumb.
We have many nicknames for Sunforged but I would need a whole other hub to list them all.

Shazwellyn
Shaz is a rocker chick at heart. The mom of 2 boys and a married lady. She comes from the middle of nowhere but the center of everything.
Shaz 'gets it" and that is because she is never afraid to ask a question. She also ran into a major obstacle during the last challenge, but did that get her down. NO way with this lady. She turned that obstacle into a learning experience I know she will never forget.
This pioneer of the 60 day challenge is one of the best teammates anyone could ask for. As she reminds us, United we Stand Divided we Fall.
Meet Natasha
We all know that Hubpages is a perfect place to write and earn. It is also a place to meet some extraordinary people that you might never have the opportunity to come into contact with. englightenedsoul is someone that you will instantly fall in love with it. You cant help not to for she is a warm and caring soul. She is smart beyond her years and she is always there with a kind word and a helping hand.
For me, Natasha is my hubpage daughter, and we have a bond that is forever.

Chaz is a lover of word manipulation and like to take words and descriptions to make up new ones. Is it any wonder that he knows "how to" do keywords. He claims he often loses words but he finds them again later, hiding in some recess of his brain, just round the corner from where he left them, but I think that if you look on google first pages you will find him there:)

Cags as I love to call him is my shortened version of Cagsil which stands for Citizens and their Ability to receive Greater Satisfaction In their Life. That may seem difficult to understand. And to understand this concept you must read his Hubs. To quote Ray "To understand life- you must be able to determine two things - What is REAL? and What is Fake?

This is a truly awesome outline and I am glad to be apart of this team.
Spread the word! That this hub exists, it will save time for us all when we want to check out our team members challenge activity!
Thank you wavegirl22!
Kudos - awesome and voted up, especially the paper clips (which I am nicking). Writing Goals in an online context is not just about getting words on paper, it is so much about PRESENTATION. And we can all learn so much from you on this. Presenting ones words such that they too stand out from the page enhances the user experience. Presenting ones words so that the dreaded search engine bot can organise and index those words is something that all of us are here to learn about. It does not come easy to wordsmiths and those with an eye for visual presentation but it is a necessity if any of us is to achieve our online writing goals.
The way I look at it is: the search engine bot is just another reader of my text. It is somewhat slow in getting the context of what I write. I must consider my audience and explain my concepts and ideas. If that audience is slow on the pick-up then I must adjust some things so that the bot "get's it". Think how the mind of the search engine works and the rules to which it adheres. Tip: your target words should be emboldened and capitalized and in the titles and sub-titles as often as is necessary for it to 'get the point'. And to spell it out completely: put them in the tags.
If that don't work then kick it!
Hey Shari, that's one fantastic hub. Excellently done. Thank you for the mention too. :)

5 Whys root cause analysis is a powerful but very simple tool to help you in solving root cause not symptoms of a problem, either in your business or in any other walk of life. Far too often in our businesses we tend to address the symptoms of a problem rather than addressing the true root cause of it, because of this the problems fail to go away and just reappear again at a later date.
